O encontro teve como foco principal a atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o do instrumento urban\u00edstico, cuja vers\u00e3o vigente \u00e9 de 2005 e encontra-se defasada frente \u00e0s atuais exig\u00eancias ambientais e urban\u00edsticas e o posicionamento dos tribunais superiores. Participaram da reuni\u00e3o os promotores de Justi\u00e7a Jorge D\u00f3ria, respons\u00e1vel pela \u00e1rea de Urbanismo, e Paulo Henrique Prado, coordenador do N\u00facleo de Defesa de Urbanismo do MPAL. Tamb\u00e9m esteve presente o diretor da Escola Superior do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico, Marcus R\u00f4mulo. Pela Prefeitura, participaram os procuradores Jo\u00e3o Lu\u00eds Lobo Silva e Felipe Rodrigo Lins, al\u00e9m do coordenador do Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano de Macei\u00f3 (Iplan), Ant\u00f4nio Carvalho.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">De acordo com o promotor Jorge D\u00f3ria, o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico tem atuado de forma cont\u00ednua com recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es e a\u00e7\u00f5es judiciais visando ao ordenamento urban\u00edstico de Macei\u00f3. Ele destacou a urg\u00eancia na conclus\u00e3o e no envio do novo Plano Diretor \u00e0 C\u00e2mara de Vereadores, encerrando um hiato de quase duas d\u00e9cadas sem atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u201cO Plano Diretor de 2005 est\u00e1 desatualizado e em desacordo com os princ\u00edpios que regem o desenvolvimento urbano sustent\u00e1vel. O MP j\u00e1 vem cobrando, h\u00e1 anos, a reformula\u00e7\u00e3o desse instrumento essencial de planejamento urbano. Por isso, reunimo-nos com representantes do Munic\u00edpio para pedir celeridade na remessa do documento \u00e0 C\u00e2mara, destacando as significativas altera\u00e7\u00f5es j\u00e1 apresentadas na cartilha propositiva divulgada pelo pr\u00f3prio Munic\u00edpio\u201d, explicou o promotor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Para Paulo Henrique Prado, coordenador do N\u00facleo de Urbanismo do MPAL, a efetividade do planejamento urbano depende de estudos t\u00e9cnicos, articula\u00e7\u00e3o institucional e foco no interesse p\u00fablico, especialmente em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 prote\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u201cA reuni\u00e3o com a Prefeitura foi importante para verificarmos o andamento do Plano Diretor. \u00c9 papel do N\u00facleo de Urbanismo apoiar os promotores naturais na busca por um ambiente prop\u00edcio ao crescimento sustent\u00e1vel das cidades alagoanas \u2014 e n\u00e3o poderia ser diferente com Macei\u00f3. O Brasil possui uma legisla\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental e urban\u00edstica avan\u00e7ada, os tribunais superiores t\u00eam se posicionado firmemente na defesa desses direitos, e tamb\u00e9m assumimos compromissos internacionais, como os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel (ODS) da ONU. Macei\u00f3, com todo seu potencial paisag\u00edstico e ambiental, n\u00e3o pode destoar dessa realidade global. Garantir o direito ao meio ambiente urbano saud\u00e1vel, para as gera\u00e7\u00f5es presentes e futuras, \u00e9 miss\u00e3o do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico\u201d,
