De acordo com a promotora de Justi\u00e7a Adilza de Freitas, o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico de Alagoas defendeu a condena\u00e7\u00e3o do r\u00e9u por homic\u00eddio duplamente qualificado, por motivo f\u00fatil e com uso de recurso que dificultou a defesa da v\u00edtima. A tese do MP foi acatada na \u00edntegra pelo Conselho de Senten\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O crime ocorreu no dia 26 de abril de 2008, no bairro Tabuleiro do Martins, em Macei\u00f3, tendo como autores o r\u00e9u e seu comparsa, Murilo Lopes Nascimento, que \u00e0 \u00e9poca era adolescente. A v\u00edtima estava a caminho da casa onde morava o seu filho, quando encontrou com Murilo e Crist\u00f3v\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ap\u00f3s discuss\u00e3o, Jos\u00e9 Wellington foi atingido por v\u00e1rios disparos efetuados por Crist\u00f3v\u00e3o e Murilo, resultando em sua morte. No dia seguinte, o r\u00e9u, o adolescente e outros quatro indiv\u00edduos foram at\u00e9 a resid\u00eancia da m\u00e3e da v\u00edtima e amea\u00e7aram toda a fam\u00edlia de morte.
