Em 7 de dezembro de 2021, ap\u00f3s a\u00e7\u00e3o civil p\u00fablica ajuizada pelo MP, a Justi\u00e7a determinou que a gest\u00e3o municipal apresentasse um projeto de lei para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o da guarda municipal. O projeto foi elaborado, aprovado e transformado em lei, por\u00e9m o Munic\u00edpio n\u00e3o cumpriu a senten\u00e7a judicial na \u00edntegra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">O promotor de Justi\u00e7a Rodrigo Soares explica que foram constatadas irregularidades na seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica de Japaratinga: pessoas n\u00e3o habilitadas estavam exercendo a fun\u00e7\u00e3o de guarda municipal. Al\u00e9m disso, esses agentes n\u00e3o tinham acesso a nenhum equipamento de prote\u00e7\u00e3o individual. Tomando conhecimento desse fato, o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico buscou esclarecimentos junto \u00e0 Prefeitura, mas a gest\u00e3o municipal n\u00e3o respondeu nenhuma das intima\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Buscando regularizar a situa\u00e7\u00e3o da guarda municipal, o MP entrou com uma a\u00e7\u00e3o civil p\u00fablica, que foi acatada pela Justi\u00e7a. Na a\u00e7\u00e3o, o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico pede que a gest\u00e3o municipal seja obrigada a propor um projeto de lei prevendo a cria\u00e7\u00e3o da guarda municipal e, em seguida, harmonize a atua\u00e7\u00e3o dos agentes com os demais \u00f3rg\u00e3os da seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Por\u00e9m, a gest\u00e3o municipal n\u00e3o cumpriu essa \u00faltima parte da senten\u00e7a, pedindo a prorroga\u00e7\u00e3o dos prazos v\u00e1rias vezes com finalidade procrastinat\u00f3ria, aponta o promotor Rodrigo Soares.
